What services do you offer?

Our carers offer comprehensive support at home, tailored to the daily needs of each senior. They take care of shopping, medication reminders, companionship and accompanying on walks. They take care of the basic household chores, such as cleaning, cooking and ironing. What kind of specialized care do Caresma carers provide?

Our carers are trained to respond responsibly to any need — from dementia, mobility difficulties and diabetes to mental health and day-to-day care. In the event of an emergency, they know the protocol for communicating with EMS and have clear instructions on how to react. We continually provide them with tools and guidance so they know how to care properly, safely, respectfully, and empathetically — no matter what.

How are Caresma carers trained?

Through Caresma's training program, based on international best practices, candidates learn how to provide specialized care to elderly people with common ailments. The process includes audio-visual material, practical examples and knowledge assessment. Only those who successfully complete the program are allowed to join our team of carers.

What is the cost of Caresma services?

At Caresma you pay to find a carer from our network. On the other hand, you pay your carer directly. Caresma can support you in the labor stamp payment process if you need guidance.

Do you provide 24-hour in-home elder care?

Caresma does not provide 24-hour elderly care at home. We believe that effective caregiving requires restful, stable caregivers and clear limits on working time. If there is a need for more hours in the day, we can create a flexible plan with you with more than one carer.

Do you offer elderly care by the hour?

Yes, at Caresma we offer elderly care by the hour, depending on the needs of each family. It could be a few hours a day for companionship, meal preparation or help in the bathroom. The duration and frequency are tailored to each case, so that we provide support exactly where it is needed.

We need a lady to provide companionship to my mother who lives alone - do you offer such services?

Yes, at Caresma we can help you. We make sure to find the right person — a caregiver with understanding, experience and willingness to really stand by your person. It is not just about caring, but about being present every day with respect and humanity.

Do your carers also provide services as domestic workers for the elderly?

Caresma carers are not domestic workers, but they can help with light tasks related to the elderly person's daily life — such as helping with eating, tidying up the space or personal hygiene. Their main mission is to provide care, companionship and security in the home.

What is Caresma's goal?

To provide families with caregivers that everyone would trust for their own parents. Respectively support carers by finding their families  who will appreciate and respect their work.
