The purpose of the service is companionship, engagement, and friendly conversation.
Caresma does not provide caregiving services, healthcare services, or medical advice.
2. Intended Users
The Platform is designed primarily for family members, relatives, or caregivers who wish to provide companionship calls for an older adult.
Users are responsible for configuring the service for the intended call recipient.
The Platform is not intended to replace human contact, professional caregiving, or medical supervision.
3. AI Companion Calls
Caresma uses artificial intelligence technologies to generate automated companionship conversations during phone calls.
These conversations may include:
- casual discussion
- general conversation topics
- reminders or prompts
- social interaction
Users acknowledge that:
- the system is an AI-generated conversational system
- conversations are generated automatically
- responses may not always be accurate or appropriate
AI-generated conversations are provided solely for companionship and engagement purposes.
4. AI Disclosure
Caresma provides AI-generated companionship calls using automated systems.
Users must ensure that the call recipient is informed that they may receive automated calls from an AI-powered virtual companion and not a human operator.
By using the Platform, users confirm that they have obtained the necessary consent from the call recipient to receive such calls.
Caresma may also provide automated disclosure during calls informing recipients that they are interacting with an AI system.
5. No Medical or Emergency Service
The Platform does not provide medical advice, healthcare services, or emergency monitoring.
The service must not be relied upon in emergency situations.
Users should ensure that call recipients have access to appropriate emergency services and human assistance when necessary.
Caresma is not responsible for monitoring the safety, health, or wellbeing of the call recipient.
6. User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
- provide accurate phone numbers and configuration information
- obtain consent from call recipients before initiating AI calls
- ensure the service is used responsibly and lawfully
- inform recipients that calls may be generated by an AI system
Users are responsible for how they configure and use the Platform.
7. Communication Services

- required by law or regulatory authorities
Users may discontinue use of the Platform at any time.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece and applicable European Union legislation.Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, Greece.
